Steam Login Fork
steam-login is a Steam-only OpenID authentication provider for Express applications. This repository is a fork of dialupnoises/steam-login; review both repositories when you need to identify fork-specific changes.
Install
Install the package in your Node.js application:
npm install steam-login
The README says the application also needs a session library, such as express-session.
Integrate the middleware
The example in the repository README configures the middleware with a realm URL, a verification URL, and a Steam Web API key. Use the correct public origin and verification route for your application, and keep the API key in private server-side configuration.
The README includes a complete Express example. Use that source when wiring the middleware and its callback routes; this guide does not replace its exact API details.
