Arma 3 Life Discord Bot
This Node.js package adds Discord commands for retrieving information about a player in an Arma 3 Life database.
Requirements
- Node.js and npm
- A Discord application and bot token
- A configured arma3-life-db connection
Install and configure
Install the package in your bot project:
npm install --save arma3-life-discord-bot
The package exports a Config function. Its documented configuration includes a Token string. Create the bot and obtain its token through the Discord Developer Portal. Keep the token private; do not commit it in your repository.
The bot depends on arma3-life-db, which must be configured so the bot can query the database.
Commands
- +help lists the bot's available commands.
- +info followed by a player ID or Steam64 ID looks up that player.
